Description:
Oteseconazole is an oral azole antifungal agent which is indicated to reduce the incidence of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis (RVVC) in females with a history of RVVC.

Indications:
Oteseconazole is indicated to reduce the incidence of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis (RVVC) in females with a history of RVVC who are NOT of reproductive potential.

Mode of Action:
Oteseconazole binds and inhibits ergosterol synthesis by inhibiting CYP450-dependent 14-alpha sterol demethylase. The inhibition of 14-alpha sterol demethylase results in a depletion of ergosterol in fungal cell membrane.
