Mode of Action:
Azelastine hydrochloride is a Histamin 1 (H1) receptor antagonist and Fluticasone propionate is a steroid. The combination intranasal preparation inhibits inflammatory mediators (like- histamine, tryptase, prostaglandin, eosinophil, basophil etc) release into the nasal mucosa. This broad spectrum anti-inflammatory activity inhibits inflammation and nasal congestion associated with rhinitis.
